I was given a Eureka tent by my boss to take into the field for testing. Ended up liking it so much that I now take it with me when I'm out testing other products. Easy setup and breakdown, accompanied with quality materials and design innovations make Eureka a brand I can highly recommend to outdoor enthusiasts of all levels.

While on Field Training Exercise in MS, my unit had to evacuate our camp due to impending tornadoes. We had 30min to grab essential gear, put any other personal gear in our TCOPs, load up on trucks and go. A small security detail was left behind and had to tough out what was coming. When we returned the following morning, the camp was a pitiful site. Most all our GP mediums were in some sort of collapse and EVERYTHING was soaked! Of 9 antennae, 3 survived. 4ft deep fighting positions were full to the top with water. Talking with those who stayed behind, thankfully no funnels touched down, but wind gusts easily reached 60mph and the rain was blinding. We were lucky! The best part though, NOT ONE TCOP WAS LOST OR DAMAGED!! And every single piece of gear stored in them was safe and dry. A true testiment to the quality and design of these One Man Combat Tents. I'd buy one for my own camping trips. Thanks Eureka! CE1(SCW/AW)Maxon-AirDet-NMCB27

I have been in the Seabees for 8 years, and when I returned to a Mobile Contruction Battalion I was issued a EUREKA 1 person tent. Whith-in my first month I was in the field for a week living out of my tent. What can I say, outstanding design, duribility, and ease of; well putting the thing up at 2300 after being up for 20 hours. Im now going to buy the 2 man tent for my personal use and for my upcoming deployment to Iraq.

Hey, I have a Eureka twister that I used on a deployment in Iraq and on many backpacking trips. There is no other tent I would use, thanks Eureka!

When I was attached with an Amphibious Construction Batallion (PhibCB's) we did a 2-week off load of a US Merchant Ship of supplies coming back from overseas and we were stationed in Puget Sound Washington. The last couple of days there we broke down the large multi-person tents and had to live in the 2-person "Pup Tents" as we like to call them. We were a bit skeptical about our comfort and worried about getting soaked by the notorious rain showers of Washington State. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by our comfort and staying dry, but the spaciousness of the 2-person tent! Let us not forget the extra room we got for the vertibules provided by the rainfly for our oversized and stuffed packs. We, and our packs, stayed bone-dry due to our outstandingly manufactured Eureka tents!!!!! I was so impressed that when I bought my first tent for backpacking I had to get a Eureka!

Used your Combat Tent while I was in the Seabees. What can I say! WOW!!! What a great tent. Always kept the weather off. So much better than the old shelter halves we used to have to use. Now that I'm a civilian again, where can I get one to use for camping?

My husband'unit U.S. Army reserve unit stayed in Eureka! tents while in Kuwait for a year. Enduring 156 degree heat (thought they were kidding), sand storms & all that comes with the climate over there. Heard nothing but rave reviews about your tents from my husband & how "neat" it would be for "us" to own one for our own personal camping use. "YEAH RIGHT" I thought to myself. UNTIL... we went camping (only used an 18x18 section) & was the rave of the camping park! One lady said she'd gladly give up her brand new $12K camper for a tent like ours! One ex-marine came by & demanded the model number so he could get out of his PVC framed tarp garage/tent. Hey, put a tarp down for the floor, add a window a/c unit, run some parachute cord from wall, around pole to wall & one in between & hang king sized flat sheets for walls & you've got 2, 9'x 9' bedrooms with a 9'x 18' living & kitchen area! Now, that's our idea of camping! We're now the talk of the campgrounds & the envy of all who visit us! (Now we're shopping for a trailer to haul it, but it will certainly be worth it!!) Thanks Eureka! for such a wonderful tent for our troops & for those of us back home who've discovered how great they are for personal use as well. My 79 yr old mother even liked it. We last used ours for a fourth of July weekend cookout in our backyard! They're still cheaper & larger than the campers we've seen of the same price!

From Sgt. Aaron, ,
Is it possible to buy the either ICS or comabt tent for personal use? I am in the Army and I used both of these models from March 2003 to August 2003. They were simply amazing. I found them to be lightweight, easily stored and easy to maintain. I would greatly appreacitate the oppurnity to purchase either of them. Also love the MGPTS, Way better than the old GP tents. Thanks for the amazing products.
